I question him, i argue (lash out at Him) with Him and tell Him that i'm not ok with the things that happen...i ask him why he lets things happen when He can very well NOT let them happen! Sometimes i get so mad at Him I say bad things to Him like I want Him to realize that I'm angry! Is it ok to feel this way?

(btw i'm a widow and an orphan at an early age...God has always been my only Refuge, Hero and strength).

Ofcourse it is OK. He wants us to have that personal relationship with him (so long of course we do it respectfully, afterall, he is God) ... But even he instructed us to pray to him and address him as "our Father in heaven" ... just the same we get emotional with our earthly dads, so to we should be the same with God.
We see with Moses, he got pretty frustrated with God and emotional when he was pleading for His people and said "God, if you allow your people to perish, then wipe my name from the book of eternal life".
I think it's good to have that close of a relationship with him, and when he sees that we are heated and fathfully pleaing for His intervention, he will revele his will.

Pray for me that God gives me the same faith you have :-)

God Bless

If you are getting angry with God, then you are blaming God for your problems and perhaps the problems of the world. If you look at these problems closely, you will see that they are caused by men and their society and perhaps seated in your own practices. If you are angry with God, then you are deflecting your anger away from the where it belongs. You say you "believe in God so much" that you can't help getting mad at him; this implies that you hold God responsible for the troubles in your life, that you do not take personal responsibility for them or accept them as inevitable. Sometimes there are reasons that are perfectly mundane; sometimes there are chaotic events that you cannot control, which you might call "acts of God." It is hard not to lash out when the latter happens, but to attribute maliciousness, a human quality, to what you perceive God to be, is a mistake. It is a way of trying to gain control over what you essentially cannot control. It is better to let go and learn from your experiences and not hold grudges against God. No good comes of a grudge; it is just seething hatred that will not help you in life. If you continue, you will end in despair, and your despair will eventually cause you to lose your faith. It is best not to go that way if you hold your faith as important in your life.

Edit: It sounds like rather than be angry at God--you express your anger TO God. This does not sound so unhealthy as I first suspected. A meditation of this sort whereby you can express worries is helpful, and actually since you direct your worries directly to God, rather than through priests, you sound healthier still. I am not Christian, but I understand this need. It just seemed like you were mad AT God, and that is a road you don't want to travel.

According to your Bible, no it is not all right.

The Bible says that everything God does is for a purpose, and you should accept it, and do not question it.

Example: Moses, one of the most well known figures of the Old Testament, recognized by Jews, Christians, and Muslims alike, was not allowed by God to cross the River Jordan into the Promised Land after freeing God's people and leading them for forty years in the desert. Why? Because Moses had doubted God, when God told him to tap a rock to produce water, and Moses beat at it.

Most of the Hebrews who wandered with Moses also didn't make it to Canaan. Why? Because after forty years they started to say "This is f*cking stupid, we've been wandering forever and we're still not at this place God promised us."

So, just to be a jerk, God does what he always does when someone doubts him, he proves that he exists by smiting them, and making them dead. Only their off-spring, who did not know the troubles of slavery in Egypt, and knew only the life of wandering, could enter the Promised Land, because they didn't complain for the reason that they didn't know any better.

Truth is, you are not supposed to doubt God in any way, and just accept what happens as his will. If you don't, then you're sinning, and this is what the Bible says.

And no, I'm not a Christian, so I don't care either way. I do what I want and don't give a damn if God would like it or not because I don't think that God is there. I have, however, read the Bible cover-to-cover and studied it for many, many years, and I guarantee that as an Atheist I understand it better than any practicing Christan or Jew.

It is perfectly to ok to feel that way. Many Bible writers themselves did that from time to time. But down the ages comes the answer from God - "Be still, and know that I am God." (Ps. 46:10). Fighting with God does not help. To know God is to believe in Him no matter what the circumstances because He is in control. Is anything too hard for Him? Can He not bring back the dead to life?

The reason we need to trust in God is because it is impossible to understand God. Try to understand Him and you are sure to fail. If we cannot understand the life that we have, how can we understand the One who gave that life? Faith is the way to go.

You sound to me like you have had a hard uphill struggle and like all mothers you love your son and want to protect him from the hardships of life. I cannot believe that anybody who has answered this question can truthfully say they have never wondered why something was happening to them. I am Muslim and I believe in Allah with all my heart yet things have happened to me in my life which have been hard and very difficult yet looking back now I realize that the hard times were for a reason and that it has made me a wiser person. Life is a testing phase for us, do not lose heart, pray to God and ask him for guidance and strength, for he knows all and is forever merciful.

Believing in God is different from knowing the nature of God. Hate is a sin that will eat you up inside. Be rid of it. All the hardships, the suffering and pain in life are necessary for us to become a new order of being, beings worthy of face to face companionship with God. Endure, be strong, survive! God is our Father, a real father. But you must understand His nature before feeling so bad.

You sound like a crazy person....take your meds befor posting quetions

I will let you on a secret that can change your life.....god is not real or at least he is not involved in our lives.

Now you can stop blaming your problems on a fairy tail creature and point to yourself and others for the cause and solution.

Lets assume there was an all powerful being controlling the universe. If he was this all powerful, the creator of life, and your creator and savior and you really really believed in him shouldn't you give him some respect and not speak to him in the manor you do? (I don't even speak to my dad like that) This God you believe in is the creator of all things who are you to question him?. You are just one of a billion of his creations and you want to tell him what he is doing wrong. What makes you qualified?

You are human so you still think the universe revolves around you. That is normal human behavior even in today modern age we tend to think selfish rather than think of the big picture.

That is why people believe they have this private Jesus to pray to and every little insignificant problem we take to God he is interested in hearing about.

Lucky for you you are not actually speaking to god. You are just talking to the walls of your room or to yourself; otherwise he might get annoyed and smite you.

It is a normal human reaction. However, you have to watch out with it.

Some people who lose faith curse God and king the scripture says -- causing them to become disapproved.

Perhaps your anger may be fueled by insufficient accurate knowledge about the true state of affairs?

If you think that God should intervene with typhoons or other natural disasters then you have a problem of insufficient accurate knowledge. Sorry to be the one to tell you.

If you have any questions, ask me. I'll be happy to try to answer using the scriptures. It is a philosophy of mine to try not to have any opinions about the Bible except what it says, what it teaches, us to have.

Ephesians 4:26 "Be angry, and do not sin": do not let the sun go down on your wrath,

The bible says their is nothing wrong about getting mad at God, but do not let it get out of hand though.

May I .... Please add something about Ignorance?

...." IGNORANCE can be Fixed ! STUPID.... IS... FOREVER!"

First..... INGORNACE Means Un-Informed !

Second.... STUPID..... Means ... UN-TEACHABLE / UN-LEARNABLE.......!

WHY.... woud you..... WHO SAY.... YOU....Know GOD.... Get Mad At HIM..... when HE Already has Said.......

(Isaian 55:6-to-11) Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

(Isa 55:7) Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

(Isa 55:8) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

(Isa 55:9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

(Isa 55:10) For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

(Isa 55:11) So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Thanks for Asking ! RR
