Jesus was the son of God who proclaimed Himself to be as such. He also stated that He was the only way to Heaven and that Hell was the alternative for those that were not born again.

He also implored all He met to not sin.

Neither.

If Jesus was the Son of God and a part of the Holy Trinity, then not only would it be impossible for Him to be hijacked (by this I assume you mean to have His works and reputation used without His knowledge or in ways He did not attend) nor would it be necessary for Him to act as an opportunist since everything will have transpired according to His will and plan in the first place.
According to the Gospel (John) Jesus is God in the flesh and therefore possesses all knowledge and power. He even says that all authority over Heaven and Earth has been given to Him. Everything was planned from the beginning of time and He lived knowing exactly what will happen until the end of time.
Even though we have freedom of choice, He knows what we will chose when it comes to putting our faith in Him. But we still have to make that choice.
He wants to get to know you. It may be that that is why He has led you to this forum. Won't you take a chance?
