There are times in public life when evidence & facts are important, but within your private life you are perfectly justified in holding any opinion you wish. If your beliefs and the actions you take on behalf of them aren't hurting anybody, then they are nobody's business but yours. In a free society there should never be such a thing as consentual crimes and laws that create them should be abolished.

Yes lol, yet there is a major problem here, to the person that says your opinion doesnt count, no matter what you say they are determined to say they are right, no matter how many prove that they are wrong.
It is ok to agree that it is ok to disagree.
the bible say correct a wicked person and they will hurt you, correct a fool and they will try and make a fool of you.
so chose your battles wisely.
RoChEr you have people attacking you for wishing them a nice day-that is so sad too.
Every day I pray not to let anyone take the joy and inner peace of Jesus from me away, why go to their level of meaness to prove that they are wrong, yet on the other hand if one cares and its a matter of their safety or eternal security, I would rather they are mean to me, than to leave them hurting themselves, and many that have antagonized me for not agreeing with them have come back to thank me for helping them.
Once as a lost Jewish person, my mom had taught me her opinion that Jesus was a liar and deciever, and to have nothing to do with him. So I antagonized those that told me about Jesus, even tearing up their papers they would hand me and throwing them back at them -saying I am Jewish I dont want Jesus-yet the kindness of their responses broke through my heart.
May you have the best day ever and keep on being nice no matter what others opinions would try to get you to change and become antagonistic and close minded as they are against you and others.

David the sweet pea in His amazing grace with thanks for you

I agree. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I may not agree with it, but that doesn't make it any less valid.

In life ( I'm only 23 so I'm still learning ) I've learnt that sometimes when you don't agree with someone it can be safer to keep your thoughts to yourself but.... if that person's opinion is beyond being harsh then I just have to tell it like it is but in a mature way so I'm not dragging myself down to their level.

Agree...everyone has their own mind and should go with what they believe and not follow the crowd. You should do what is right whether people are with you or not.

I agree, and they are also free to speak that opinion out loud (even if it is terrible or stupid) that is what makes America a great place to live.

Yes, I agree. My Grandma Said"listen to what people have to say, take what you need and throw out the rest".
