I live in Australia. Halloween is not generally celebrated here. We might have the odd child trick/treat (and I try to have something for them). But we hear a lot about halloween. How are you celebrating where you are?

I'll put some food some the spirits and souls, like the Celtic people did before the Christian invented All Saint Day.
And I'll take care of my cat who had surgery yesterday... (I guess he'll eat the food for the souls ;) )

I to am in Australia. I remember growing up we used to every year go round with a little Halloween rhyme. It seemed to be such a big deal when we were little and we used to always pass 7 to 10 other groups of kids doing the same thing and counting the money and lollies we got was so much fun. It them just seemed to die off and as an adult I did not even get kids coming to the door. This year though I had 3 groups of kids knock on my door and it was fantastic they put so much effort into there costumes. My oldest not having a huge understanding for the day had been asking a little about it and once he saw all the kids dressed up he said next year can we do it. So I will surely have to prepare for that. I had little lolly bags in the anticipation that I may get some kids come round and they were wrapped.

It is the eve of All Saints' Day so I will go to church where we will also have a vigil of light until 8 am tomorrow morning and I might go to part of that.

I will also have some tubs of sweets for those unbelieving children caught up in the American "stuff-your-face" religion who call at my door!

I do not participate in Satan's holiday.
It is pathetic that cities all across the country block off streets, waste tax dollars screening/inspecting candy for whatever & expect people to turn off their lights for a few hours if thier not going pay for & hand out treats.
