How can I get into the acting business (Successfully) Hollywood!! I do A level Drama :D?

if all you're interested in is hollywood then you want to go to a drama school that specialises in acting for camera. you have to be 18 but if you're on A levels I guess you better start looking!

no one can tell you how to be successful in this business I'm afraid! it's talent, determination and a lot of luck. going to a drama school will mould your talent, teach you all the tricks of the trade and when you come out of there you should have an agent (btw - never join agencies. they take your money and you'll never hear from them again). determination ... well, if you can accept that it's a hard business where few people have even got regular work (forget about fame and money. that happens to less than 1% of actors. and when you look at how many of us there are ...), then determination is pretty much sorted.

workshops - there are some good ones out there, the Young Vic in London do some. look at the theatre websites.

You're British right? If Hollywood is your dream then I recommend you look at taking acting classes there....you'll learn all about the industry though you'll probably have to work part time too....it's a different scene to the British one....here you really have to go to Drama School in London, I believe it's different over there. Make enquiries into good acting classes in L.A.

You will first have to become a successful actor in England.
So work on that. If you are really good when you become an actress there, Hollywood will come calling for you.
