I just a little curious to ask since I found my life meaningless and full of bad things come to my mind.I have read the book called The Purpose-driven life. But I still felt what I did is worthy to live on or not until the end of my life

You are a unique manifestation of the potention for rational thought: - both analytic and synthetic. You have asked within your question what is it to be human: We breed, we think, we create, we feel, we love, we die. Not an answer as such but hopefully it may help you compose your own. As you are unique your answer to the question must also be unique: for you and you alone. Neither I nor anyone else can tell you for what your life is about is your decision. Try reading Nietzche's 'Thus Spake Zarathustra', it may help you think your way around this problem in a more constructive manner than any so-called 'self-help' books.

we all feel like that sometimes. Some people longer than others, and some feel it on a more serious basis. All I can say is live your life the best way you know how. Try your hardest at everything and constantly look for ways to improve your life and how you are living it. Finally, just hope that in the end, you have been a positive impact on your loved ones, society, and, if you're lucky, the world. Hope things turn out for the best bro.

Running after this and that, as you already know, does not go anywhere... and the Purpose-driven life doesn't hold the secret either... and neither does "The Secret."

The real secret to discovering the purpose of your life is to be found within you. This online resource will explain it. This is not a religious book, but has more to do with what Socrates said... "Know thyself." There is more to that expression than most people know.

Most people don't know anymore than you do, the trick is finding something to do until it hits you, nothing in particular.. Just live. make friends, make them happy, care for the people that are close to you. Someday you'll know why you are, but you can't force it. It'll happen when it's supposed to.
Though, there's always the possibility of existentialism("Existentialism is a philosophical movement which claims that individual human beings create the meanings and essence of their own lives."). Maybe not a possibility so much as one of the realities, if that makes sense. You could be made for something in particular but you could also be made for nothing in particular and YOU get to make yourself for what you want yourself to be for. Just don't waste your life wondering why you are, you are and that's all that matters.

Your question itself is meaningless without God.

If we reject God, then forget about purpose and meaning. All we can do is to invent activities that make us feel good, focus on happy thoughts and keep us so busy that we don't have time to think about our meaningless existence.

But if we accept that God might exist, then isn't that one thought more important than any other thing in the universe? Logically, if we suspect our Creator exists, we should seek Him. If we have any purpose whatsoever here on earth, then seeking God is that purpose.

The simplest way to know the purpose of our life is to know what genuinely pleases our soul on a sustainable basis...... this simple approach leads us through various gates into the right direction through appropriate experience... the only condition is that we should never forget that what we are aiming for is to genuinely please our own soul on a sustainable basis...... in my view this is what spiritual path is all about.

You are for not letting someone else decide what you are for.

I am a liar, said the liar
Thus releasing fire
Of cycling cogitation
Where in head, in town, in nation,
Can I find the switch
To kill the lying ***ch?
