Step away from the Fruit of the Loop bin! Don't do it. Your socks should complement your shoes. If your flats are black, get black socks -- period.

There is a short sock available that when worn with shoes does not come over the top edge of the shoe. If you shoes are white then white is okay if your shoes are black then black is the colour of choice. The socks I mention come in a variety of colours ( there is even a toe cap sock for when you wear hi-heels!!) tread lightly and be comfy ;o)

There are all kinds of socks you can wear with different shoes. Nylons are really warm, so wear knee ones, or trouser socks, that come in a variety of colors and patterns.

You could wear stockings under your pants or those stockings that only cover your foot. You wouldnt even see nude colour stockings and they would keep you warm.
