Go to the myriad of ESL sites and most will have an area where you can leave the information. One site where you may begin is www.ESLTeachersBoard.com. I did tutoring online for a while and found it very difficult to truly help anyone...so...I moved to China eighteen months ago and now teach at a very good English language school. I wish had moved here years ago! Absolutely wonderful country and fascinating experince.

How to teach English online?
I have been teaching English online for almost a year (by myself). Here is my website: http://EnglishKitty.com and I also have a blog, and on it you can learn how to teach English (and other languages) online:
http://HowToTeachEnglishOnline.com/blog
I really enjoy teaching English online, and I like helping teachers who want to learn how to teach English online.
If anyone has any questions on how to teach English online, just shoot me an email. Good luck online English teachers!

London Teacher Training College have a comprehensive range of ESL/TESOL courses, which now includes a special Diploma course for teaching ESL online in association with EFL Online.
As for advertising your services, I know that access2english are currently transferring all of their resources over to their main site, and this does include a listing of efl teachers. They may also be able to arrange discount on the ESL online diploma as they offer 5% discount on most of the LTTC courses.

Not going to work! You need to go to a school or immersion school and do an English as a 2nd language class. Or go to the country and teach there.

Great idea.
As long as you've got a webcam and they've got a webcam, you can talk to each other via any instant messaging software (e.g. communicator), see each other, hear each other, they can type, you can correct, etc. etc. They could click on your appointment book, book a lesson, etc. etc. As well as that you could have a non interactive lesson archive available for free. It's be a lesson, but without either party having to travel.
Just create a website, put lots of info in the metatags, then tell people on any relevant sites about it.

Lol @ JANARVIH. Like you would get students then pass them to someone else.
I would try getting in touch with the big companies that advertise online courses, they have to get their teachers from somewhere don't they?
Google online English courses & see what you come up with.
Good luck with that.

Set up your own website and promote that in different forums, user groups etc. Try google ads (it costs money to advertise).
