Now that I see the photo, I am not sure. It looks like a bear, but then look at the legs. hmmmmm

I think it was a bear in a bigfoot costume!

Those bears took sasquatch's beef jerky!
There was a picture of a bear and some cubs taken with the same camera half an hour before this 'thing' appeared. There are still bear cubs in the picture of this 'biped'. No mother bear would allow something that close to her cubs, unless she was dead. It sure looks semi-human, but I'll let the 'experts' figure it out.

Looks like some pretty fake photography, if you ask me, it's
too skinny to be a bear. Besides, isn't a bigfoot supposed to
walk upright?

I looked up a picture of bear with mange and sure enough it looks very much like that. Although I also like all the creative theories posted here :-)
