I chuckled when I read this question as it made me so conscious of my eating habits and my children's.
Me - mouth shut, quietly but very fast. I have always been told I am a fast eater.
My two sons though - both with there mouth open as they can't stop talking when they eat - or if it is closed they have such a bad habit of humming - and well like so many kids very slowly.....

I eat with my mouth shut and don't make noise. Anything else is rude. I eat fast or slow depending on where I am and how hungry I am.

mouth shut, who wants to see chewed up food. quietly. most of the time i have to eat fast if i am at work, but at home i try to eat slowly.
