The McSwindlers have finally been forced to admit to spending 1/3 of a million pounds sterling in LESS THAN 6 MONTHS of Madeleines "fund" money. They say they have spent it on "living expenses". Their friend big Gordy McBrown sees no reason why they should not be allowed to continue to have access to Madeleines money. Money which was sent in by old aged pensioners and good, HONEST, people. I for one do not find this acceptable and have made my opinion known to Mr David Cameron in the hope that he might raise questions about this whole sordid affair. YOU TOO can do the same. You have a voice and should make it known if you really feel that the whole "fund" thing is morally and ethically wrong. Here is the link

It may be the only way to make sure that the "fund" is used properly or given to childrens charities. As it is the McFraudsters STILL have access to it and can use it as they please.

Thanks for the link - I have sent an email previously about the McCann's. This time I will send one asking for a public enquiry into misrepresentation by the McCann's...the fighting fund was to find Madeleine not fight their defence.

There should also be an enquiry into the British establishment cover up of this case...thanks trancebaby

I donated to the fund and I never for one minute thought the money would be used for anything other than supporting the family in their search for Madeleine. So I think there is nothing wrong with using the money in this way so that they could not work for over 6 months and concentrate their efforts on the search.

Its a pity that so many people can't see this from the McCann's side.

I seem to remember a few months ago, Aunti Phil and various other relatives vowing to sell their own homes in order to pay the Mccann's expenses, that never happened did it? Full of hot air again

That's not nice Annie M. You honestly want a child snatched from this questioner? You obviously don't care much about children then. In answer to the question though I don't really mind them doing whatever they like with the money. I didn't donate any to them so it doesn't really bother me that much. Anyone who was stupid enough to donate money to something which wasn't even a registered charity should have know better anyway so I have no sympathy. If these people donated the money to the NSPCC it could have helped or saved hundreds if not thousands of children. Instead they donated it to the family of a missing girl who have spent it on mortgage payments and travel expenses to meet the pope. More fool them is all I can say.

I'd be surprised if David Cameron would risk his opinion polls on this matter, remember that Cameron is relying on gullible people to vote for him and believe his promises, these gullible people are often McFannatics

These people are SUSPECTS in the disappearance of their daughter, therefore they should not be allowed to personally benefit from any fund money collected from Madeleine's disappearance. It's outrageous.
Thanks for the link.

This fund was set up to help find Maddie and help other families in the same situation - or so I was lead to believe - not to fund the McCanns lifestyle!! They could sell their house and down size, like anyone else would have to!

This forum is for REAL questions, not an excuse for you to rant on about the McCanns.

Absolute Garbage.. Why would the Leader of the Opposition get involved with this????
If you bothered your Pea Brain to read the terms of the Fund
Section 1.1.3 CLEARLY states that the fund may be used to provide Financial Assistance to the family..

I doubt you did get a reply from him, and if you did, it would probably say Sorry there's nothing we can do.....

It's about time you learned the facts before making another fool of yourself.

I have sent an email as I also feel we need an explanation as to why this money has been squandered by so called loving parents who are supposedly looking for their child.

Bad news. the money should be for funding the search for maddie or finding out what happened to her and bringing the perpetrator to justice. To let the mccanns live it up and pay their mortgage isnt on. Is this really a political thing though. A police complaint would seem more appropriate!
