Without a doubt he is the best candidate. Not to mention Hillary is unelectable in a general election, Democrats fail to recognize that if she wins the nomination she can't win against Giuliani. Republicans are passionate with hate towards her and will come out in droves to vote against her. The Democrats HAVE to win this election to correct the mess that Bush has created over the past 8 years.

VOTE BARACK!!!

Haven't decided if he's the best yet but he's among my front runners. I've liked what I've heard of his speeches and philosophies, and change would be refreshing.

I like Hillary to an extent except that it will be the obnoxious fight with the Repubs that happened when Bill was in office. They'll no doubt come up with a few more "water...." and find evidence to support that she's a lesbian and having an affair with Ellen!!
Seriously, I think she will get bogged down in the same old, same old, that the Boomer politicians have been revisiting for the last 40 yrs. Abortion, gay marriage, ad nauseum. We need new blood in the White House.

No, not at all..

I love his personality, but I hate his policies.. As much as he claims to be the anti-establishment candidate, he is just that.. He cannot promise to withdraw the troops out by 2013, possibly later and has yet to present a proper exit strategy. He voted in favor of the Patriot Act.. which is a direct infringement on our rights. While I respect the fact that he spoke out against the war before he came into office, he later told the NY Times, had he been in the Senate he may have voted differently. And what about the economy, taxes, social security, not to mention a presidency with him may lead us into another war with Iran or Pakistan, one which he commented he would invade without the consent of the government, and the other where he missed the vote, and never spoke out against and attempted to sponsor a legislation in favor of designating the Iranian National Guard a terrorist organization (he also stated he wouldn't rule out strikes against them) .. And what about his votes making it harder for average citizens to sue big corporations?

He looks a little on the wimpy side. I don't really care for limp-wristed progressives who are going to bend everytime a strong gust of wind comes along. Perhaps not as bad as Edwards, whos stirring tale of rags-to-riches, and triumph over adversity cancer tirade is getting old and is about as cliched as a harlequin romance. I would rather have Bush another 4 years than either of them though.

...No. If he can't even salute the Flag and be attentive to the National Anthem at a public gathering I don't think this "kid" is ready to lead America... (let alone be the Commander in Chief of the Military)... How is he going to face Al Qeada when he's terrified to face O'reilly...?

I'd prefer Dennis Kucinich, but after him Obama is the best.

No. He doesn't have the experience...but then, neither does Hillary or Edwards. Between the three of them they barely have 3 terms in elected office.

But we aren't allowed to say they lack gravitas.

No way. He doesn't have enough experience and he really doesn't have what it takes to run a country like ours with the problems we have. I think he lost big time last night.
