Do you notice that something awful always seems to happen on them at christmas...never anything cheerful or happy! Wish this year they would do something happy. Heard Sarah Dies in Corrie...not sure about Eastenders or Emmerdale yet.
Any ideas? What do you all think?

I record the soaps and watch them when kids have gone to bed.

You're right, they always seem to have depressing, dramatic story lines instead of happy, positive ones! Maybe they should give these poor soap stars a happy ending for once?! I'm excited about Eastenders, there's a lot going on with the Bradley and Stacey story line, plus there are 2 fiesty new characters Roxy and Ronnie who cause a lot of chaos and aren't to be messed with! Should be some good stories, ey?
Hope you have a good Christmas sweetie x

I was actually thinking about that the other day when watching Emmerdale, especially with Eastenders I mean last year it was Pauline the year before or so Dennis, and not to mention Tom King's dramatic window exit in Emmerdale,it's like for something to go right another worse thing must happen e.g Tom gets married and everyone's happy!...and then he dies.

I agree something bad always happens at Christmas, although last Christmas in Eastenders wasn't all bad after all Pauline died (and lets face it she's no great lost).

I didn't realise that Sarah was going to die, but lets hope that for a change in Eastenders something good happens
