Much better...positive thinking, good attitudes, and our belief in God has made life worthwhile...I thank our President, our American Military, and by the grace of God, that we are living a life without terrorists attacking us in our country, since that awful day on Sept 11, 2001. I know that it is a huge undertaking, on a daily basis, for the military to have to be in the Middle East fighting to keep our country safe. May God bless America and our fighting soldiers everywhere!!!!!

better because I am paying less in taxes and I am not rich by any means. A lot has happened in the past 7+ years 9-11, quite a few natural catastrophes th war on terror and despite all of these negative things because of his tax cuts not only is the economy good over all and the stock market reaching record breaking numbers and unemployment at record low numbers the government is raking in more money in taxes then ever before and the deficiet is being paid back almost twice as fast as predicted. What we need to do is continue the tax cuts and even add to them and get government to slow down on their run away spending and stop stealing from social security! What we don't need is bigger government with more regulations and higher taxes. So in spite of the fact that I don;t agree with Bush on rewarding illigal aliens amnisty nor the way he hasn't spent more time explaing why we MUST win the war on terror...al in all he was the best man for the job at the time. My resourses for my comments on the national debt and the economy were found mostly at the Library of congress web site.

Worse. Energy and food costs have more than doubled since Bush entered the White House. Not only that, but all state and local taxes have greatly increased to make up for all cuts in the federal budget that help the states by the Bush administration so that they can afford to cut the taxes of the very wealthy by more than the average middle class person makes in one year.
The Bush administration isn't even properly funding the states to take care of the federal highways(Interstate & U.S. highways) anymore. That is why many bridges are collapsing or close to the point of collapsing and many Interstates are no better to travel than a cow path.

It's not just Bush that dictates how well I am doing. This may aggravate the liberals out there, but I am gainfully employed, healthy and content for the most part. A lackluster, lame duck congress with an appeasement mentality has me concerned though. Their reckless spending on welfare programs and special interests has caused my state and federal taxes to double in the past year and a half. They are much too generous with our money. Then again, if you hand a monkey a gun full of bullets and he shoots someone, you can't really blame the monkey-can you?

Yes, in several ways. I am a police officer, and the grants from Homeland Security we have received have increased our training budget, as well as having paid for more manpower and equipment upgrades. I am also a volunteer firefighter, and our department has also reaped the same rewards. I also own a small private business, and my tax obligation has not gone up since 2001. During the nineties, my annual tax obligation rose 6.25% above what it was in 1992. That coupled with the financial opportunities that are available in a good economy such as the one we have now have helped me increase my annual income significantly. Also, no one has blown up any buildings lately.
I have 2 sons in Iraq right now, so that is a concern. They chose to be soldiers, and soldiers run the risk of going to war. I don't agree with everything that the President has done while in office, but I REFUSE to blame him for everything from acne to famine in Africa like the biased, small minded finger pointers I see here all the time. I am to firmly rooted in reality to participate in that. All in all, as a public servant and a business owner, my life has improved since Clinton left office. If Queen Hillary is elected, the first thing I will do is sell my business. I can't afford to run it in the tax heavy environment of a Democratic administration. I almost lost it during Bill Clinton's last term, and I won't do that again.

My family has suffered greatly under the Bush admin. I have 3 nephews in Iraq, one that just came home after being blown up for the 2nd time. I worked in the mortgage industry, my home state is over run with a passive invasion from outside our country and they are trashing the ppristine beauty that I love so dearly and the admin does not want to hear me and do the right thing.

I was so lucky to receive about $35.00 tax break from Bush really went long way. Gas prices go up and down then up which takes more of ones income to buy gas. The economic polices of Republicans are not for lower or middle class they are designed for those wealth and power.

WORSE
Anyone who says they are doing better is a partisan liar. OK, Bush saved you $300 in taxes, but just think how much he has indirectly cost you. His foriegn policy has led to increasing gas prices and the weakening of the American dollar. We are stuck in the sand in the middle of Arabia, doing nothing but building resentment among young Islamic fundamentalists and allowing billions of dollars seep into the national debt. There has been no action taken to deal with the impending Social Security crisis. Bush offers no leadership when it comes to any of the decisive issues of our time. Terrorism - what has Bush done besides destroy the lives of over 3,000 of our young men and women, not to mention the countless Iraqi's killed. Healthcare - He just vetoed a bill that would have effectively given coverage to millions of children living in poverty. Immigration - nothing. Enviornment - nothing. We are living in a world in which pollution and global warming are valid health concerns, but Bush is completely oblivious toward these issues. He depends on blind faith in Jesus rather than critical thinking and decision making. As an American, I am ashamed to have such an arrogant and incompetent leader.

two major interest rate cuts so that i can own my house in fifteen years instead of thirty
record low unemployment and i got two raises as there is lots of competition in my field
and finally i got tax relief to combat the clinton largest tax increase in us history and the future effects for me of the clinton taxation of social security.
