I had a guy tell me to use WD 40 on it and let is soak and scrape them off.
Okay what else works?

The floor is glued to the foundation concrete with heavy glue. Brut force is killin me. Cant' hurt the floor.

Heat/ glue removers like paint remover works better with heat like hair dryer blown on to area to be worked..say 10 minutes? if floor down longer try heat longer.. a flat bldae shovel woorks good/ i removed a floor like in a couple hours... by scraping... don't know how big and area your workin' mine was 10X20 space...take your time if tired.. heat aspect works try room heater like a blower... over night??? on floor??

If they are newer tiles either a really hot blow dryer, an iron, or a heat gun. All three will work you just need to find what works best for your situation. Once you get the tile hot enough the glue holding it will get kind of liquidy and you should be able to peal the tile off the floor with little problem

WD40 smells and the smell is hard to get rid of. You should be able to use a pole scraper to get it off. But, check for a solvent other than WD40 if you need it.

It can be a very big job
Try not to use solvents, it can be very dangerous.
Brute force is normally the best way.
A heat gun will help depending on what has been used to put them down.

Okay, dont do that. Unless they have been there a really long time they should come right up. Use a large scraper. Where did you get that which hat?! I want one!!

A heat gun, apply heat and carefully start prying up the edges with a putty knife.
