Howard has built the best relationship between Australia and USA because of his ass-kissing! We don't even need the Americans because they always get involved in there wars...we are capable on our own. The Aussie dollar is high because the American economy is going down.

Rudd going to a strip club? So what! Bob Hawke was known to have a fair share of beer and he was a great PM. Rudd all the way, I like his push for global warming issues, his acknowledgement to build a bridge with indigenous Australians as well as having a concern for the IR laws.

Also lets not forget that Howard who "built a great relationship between AUS and USA" is not going to serve a full-term and I would not like Costello being PM.

OH MY GOD!

Rudd for PM.

It's good to see the majority of people have the right idea, but I cant believe some people still cannot see the damage that John Howard and the Coalition government has done to this country.

To mention a few: the underspending on our government schools and TAFE, IR laws, the war in Iraq, the whole GST issue, and dont even get me started on interest rates and petrol prices.

The guy says, "Australian families have never been better off!" - what an arrogant misguided view. He either really doesn't have a clue, or just doesn't give a rats.

I think in years to come Australia will become more aware of what this government has done and John Howard will rot in political hell for it!

Rudd for Labor!
Howards done little for infrastructure building and is leaving the states poor and blaming it on them.
Now he promises everything he took away over the years from when he was in power. But mind you you still wont see any of it for years and years to come.

By that time it'll need to be doubled again.
So then he again they can keep promising to do the same.

Everythings on a promise and built on a lie. Like no GST and now we're one of the highest taxed countries in the world.
Over taxed on petrol. Over taxed on wages. Taxed again with land and water rates. Tax on buying your principle home.
Even taxed in NSW if you buy a secondhand caravan.
How many times do they tax people for the same item?

Then the introduction of a work reform placing so many people worse off. There may be some more jobs but people have lost even more in their rates and conditions and job security.

Employment figures stated by the Liberals are just lies.
Hundreds of thousands of people just simply gave up looking for work because there's none there for them.

Just because they're not collecting the Doll doesn't mean people aren't out of work. Many don't qualify because their partner works so they're off the list for a start.
That means an average of one in two people may still want work but can't get any.

The unemployed in Australia would run into millions if the truth were really accepted. Liberals are just absolute liers.

These politicians just keep people stupid and on the end of a piece of never ending string. How hard is it really to just to fix the same problems that have always been there.
They simply never fix things because then they'd be out of a job. There lives live on promises that they never keep.

Interest rates go up and people start losing homes but that's alright to them because they are just a percentage of voters.
Everything is based on numbers and that's all people are to politicians.
