I have never heard of any ghosts at SCBB. There used to be a few urban legands about the place but no ghosts. I dont think it can compete agains the Winchester Mystery house right over the hill in San Jose when it comes to ghosts.

As an employee at the boardwalk, we have our share of stories about how spooky the place gets after dark when everyone goes home. I think all of us have a crazy/horror story to share (mostly about employee accidents). I asked around and got some answers that the boardwalk is indeed haunted.

Apparently the Cocoanut Grove ballroom is haunted. There's a room in it that some just call, "the scary room" that people find unpleasant to go into. More of a "presence" haunting.

Two boys apparently drowned in what is now "Neptune's Kingdom Arcade" but was once a saltwater pool called "the Plunge." It's possible that it's haunted.
