My soulmate passed away a few years ago. I used to call him "Keebler" because he was "uncommonly good".

I was feeling uneasy one night when my boyfriend was going on a business trip. (You know, all the hotties at the hotel bar and all...) So I said instead of sounding like a controlling nag, "You know I'm like your loaf of bread. There will be Triscuits there for the taking. Nice ones with maybe even a piece of cheese and a slice of tomato on top. Maybe even a dash of pesto... But please remember your loaf of bread who's at home. Please don't eat any Triscuits." He replied with, "I'm your whole wheat, you know. I'll be gone on a trip and you might bump into a real nice looking loaf of Pumpernickel. Please don't eat any Pumpernickel. And by the way, YOU'RE my Triscuit!" I replied with, "Well, you're my Pumpernickel!" Thereafter, I'm called Triscuit and he's Pumpernickel...

Babe or Baby, we both use. I call him maa atoo which in Blackfoot mean the other half of my spirit. He calls me beautiful.
