Nope, dont. You'll regret it later. 4 months aren't that long enough for you to know a girl. And from your story, do you even like her? If the feelings aren't mutual, there's no way the relationship will stand. A relationship should be based on love, not pity. Sounds cruel, but it is the truth. If you end up breaking up with her just because you forced yourself into a relationship, that will hurt her more and make you look like a jerk. You even don't plan to meet her irl, so don't even bother. If you're considering to have a relationship with the said girl, you have to meet with her first and see if you feel comfortable with her. People can be different in real life and online, so you better keep that in mind.

with any friendship internet friends take time to get to know. if you get to the stage of knowing them pretty well, and they have proven to be good to you when you need them (emotional support wise) then yes, internet friends can be friends as others that you are physically around.

To me, yes they are. It's better to communicate without looking at each other rather than having friends who we always quarrel or having misunderstanding. Internet friends are far much better and sincere. Nice having bunch of them.

sometimes. Pepole on the Internet tend to only tell you what they want you to know. as in not everything. they can make up all sorts of things, and you, knowning no other can believe them. on the other hand some are genuine. It can be hard at times to figure out who is what.

i have many people i speak to online who i consider friends, if you get a long with them and they have the same interests as you then why cant they be considered a friend? Just because you talk online and you perhaps live in different countries does not mean you cant consider one another a friend.

It depends. But overall yes. A friend is someone you can trust and talk with etc. If you know them well enough I guess you could call them a friend.
