Liberals have Bill Maher, John Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Kevin Smith, Michael Moore, Roseanne Barr, Rosie O'Donnell..on and in..is it that there's more to make fun of with Conservatives? Are Conservatives just too serious? I guess Dennis Miller's conservative but his rants are a little tired. And I suppose some people think that Ann Couture using the word "******" (giggle) is funny. But, honestly, where are the funny conservatives?

I make no claim that a senseof humour is a necessity - I just see plenty of liberal pundits able to use one. Bill Maher and Michael Moore are MEAN? "Mean" is saying someone looks like they should be on a subway diet.

Be careful what you wish for - remember the banquet where Dubya went looking high and low for the WMD's? Their idea of humor isn't always in the best taste. Conservatives are not always "compassionate," and their obsession with morals, wealth, and security contrasts with the liberals' desire to enjoy life without trying to make everything reflect their own views. So I'm glad we don't more conservatives ridiculing our social concerns, making fun of minorities (recall "We are the Weird"), and laughing all the way to the bank. Besides, entertainers are generally lefties, so anyone in that business is exposed to left-wing attitudes for so long, some it rubs off, and they become like their peers. Which brings up the thought that audiences are also typically left of center, and wouldn't pay good money to hear a conservative...

Bill Maher and Michael Moore are just mean, mean is not funny. John Stewart and Colbert are funny. I don't think of Kevin Smith's humor in a political sense at all. Roseanne Barr, Rosie O'Donnell, are you kidding me? I think you were trying to pad the list. Anyway, does it take a famous joke-teller to be lined up with your political ethic in order to have a sense of humor? I'm funny and conservative, I'm just not famous. Don't believe me? A guy walked into a bar......

I wouldn't say that John Stewart is funny. Take away his blind-sheep audience's random bursts of laughter and applause and all you have are a few lame, regurgitated jokes.
..and would you really call Michael Moore a comedian? He's only funny if you're a conservative... what about Rosie O'Donnell? She doesn't even pretend to make people laugh anymore, she's just fat and outrageous. If you're going to count Roseanne Barr and Kevin Smith, I'll go find a random conservative has been and no-name to match them. That leaves Colbert, who is pretty funny, but only because people actually thought he was a conservative for so long.... If you've seen a liberal comedian once, you've seen him a million times. Bush dumb, Iraq bad... oh sh*t, i'm out..

As for funny conservatives, the 'Half-Hour-News Hour' crew, the 'Red-Eye' crew, Matt Stone (South Park)... there are plenty.

Michael Savage isn't a comedian but he can be very funny. His latest book, The Political Zoo, is supposed to be humorous.

I don't find Michael Moore, Bill Maher, or Rosie O'Donnell funny though.

Who thinks Lewis Black is conservative? Maybe conservatives have no sense of humor because they apparently can't listen very well.

I guess it's a good thing that they don't have a sense of humor. It explains how they can say half of the crap they say with a straight face.

Well, I'm conservative, and I think I have a great sense of humor (I LOVE southpark.... and all Kevin Smith movies) (Clerks is the best movie ever) (1. 2. 1 2 3 4, Noise noise noise, smokin weed, drinkin beers..... you get my point)

Anyway.. Lewis Black seems to be mostly conservative, and he's hilarious.

And Ann is funny. I had never heard of her until I heard her on the Sean Hannity show.

Edit:

I don't think Michael Moore is funny.... just funny looking..
(When I look at him, all I see is a before picture of someone on the Subway diet, or something... Cuz he's kinda greasy.. I dunno)

Of those you listed, the only one I find funny is John Stewart.

There are some pretty funny looking ones.
Edit: Lewis Black is not conservative. Not the way Americans define a "conservative" these days anyway.
