Waxing philosophical tonight? We are all as we will be...some strive their entire lives to be better, to know more and more, to perfect their soul. Others seem to be content with life as it comes. I am not in a position to answer for anyone else, only that person can answer.
Yes I miss Just Me. Here, so many have been run off by , what I consider to be so little. Truthfully, I think that our generation is not used to the rudeness that inhabits YA!...it would seem that behind the anonimity of the keyboard, many feel they can be rude, offensive, irresposible, and ..in short, nasty in their ignorance. They don't care if they hurt others feelings, they don't value themselve enough to be kind to others, seen or un. From what I read here, in many, lives are becoming more and more solitary, for few, if any, will put up with what I see here so often. So few actually consider how they may hurt others with their flippant answers, their nasty stupidity. They have run off so many who are wise beyond years...and it is their loss. They are the only ones who think they have all the answers, and think that everything they write is cute.Well, they are anything but cute..they just come across as very stupid people. IF that is what they want to be known as, then they earn it daily. I do notice that very few are willing to sign anything that is real. Thier tiny little universe is stiffling to me. I have reached a point that I feel sorry for them, for they are creating such massive Karmic debt that it will take at least this lifetime to repay. They will wonder why nothing ever works out for them, but one day, they will find out they get what they give...and I am glad I am not going to get what they are in store for.
I am thankful for those like you , always kind, always the high road. I think you may be a dying breed here. Perhaps it is time to put down this site and move on in life...I have no answers. Peace and love, Phil

Yes I miss JustMe, she was a good contributor on this site, Hopefully she will drop by again this way.
It is a sad state of affairs when the Trolls are able to drive someone away. Maybe that is why I do not ask questions, but only answer. And have to feel that this is the world wide web and there are terrible people out thereso I have to keep my personal information private. Too many WACKO'S.

I knew there was a reason that Goldwing and sage seeker and the others are my friends (including you my dear). It is hard to overlook our friends being run off this site by people who are not qualified to call themselves human. But, like most I prefer to think that justme is just resting at the moment. Don't forget that she is getting antsy about her tests tomorrow. We should remember to keep her in our prayers.
We are all entitled to stay where we want. To heck with our self-styled police persons and the denizens under the bridge. I keep on saying that I am going to be spending less time on here because the passion is gone. I suspect I will still be saying the same thing when they finally close the site, or they pry the mouse out of my cold, dead hand. :)

Yes, I miss her and I'm praying that all goes well with her tests. I hope she will come back when she's feeling better. She's a wonderful lady who added so much to this site, while those who are rude and uncaring drain the life from it. When they 'win', everyone loses, if they'd take the time, there is so much that could be learned.
As for you dear friend, we enjoy your posts immensely, keep up the good work. You often make me 'think' and that's a good thing.

I hope she will return! As for this lady; I am staying! Far as I'm concerned that group of individuals who behave as Goldwing described can go take a hike off a very tall cliff overlooking the Grand Canyon. Once I got over my first angst at being trolled, I no longer question my right or desire to be here!! Just like in real life, I can choose NOT to associate with them in any way.
And no, Wickwire, you are so much more!..and I look forward to seeing more and more of you.

I've obviously missed something again...but hate to hear that justme has backed off. Was just getting to know more about her and knew about what time she and her great questions would show up. Hopefully she's still reading and will know that the good people here want her back and that she's missed. Glad to hear that Barb e-mails her and will make sure that she knows how we all feel.

A concerted effort should be made to ensure the return of those who have quietly left the scene, they are much missed and the site is the poorer without them.To those that may be thinking of leaving remember the sum is greater than it's parts but it is the parts that make up the sum." Hopefully (I always have hope) the new ones on YA Seniors will learn as they read that there are certain elements who have joined this area and ruined it for most of us. Phil said it well. Seniors was among the top sections before the trolls and smarta** young ones moved in with their nasty attitudes. So they, too, lose the benefits that were once here, but they're too stupid to know it.

Yes very much. Justme was an integral part of this site with her great questions and her answers. We were fortunate to have such a great person as her. I for one are very sorry to hear she has left but really whats the point of staying anymore.
She isnt the only one who is going to close up shop and go elsewhere!!!
