It is not only a true reflection of where this government is on health, it is more of a reflection of how arrogant this government is, and were they are on everything!!!

Late on climate change, late on Indigenous affairs, late on funding boosts, late fixing aged care, pretty late on everything really!!

Not only does he abuse Bernie, the man dying of aspestos poisoning, he then is half an hour late for a debate.

This is the most contempt government Australia has ever had. There smuggness and complete disrespect of Australian values and decency is appalling. I am begining to loose faith in the Aussie way of life. We are embracing the USA way of life of 'money above all else' mentallity.

We are desperatley in need of a change of government!!

Tony Abbott showed his total disrespect on more than one front . His accusation that Bernie Bantton's (sorry for spelling) actions were a stunt, then only to apologise after he saw how bad it looked in the press was appalling.
Bernie is a dying man, representing those afflicted by Asbestosis, and does not reserve to be treated with such lack of compassion, especially from the so called Minister for Health.

His lack of regard by arriving late for a debate on health, only reinforced his commitment to his portfolio.

He is a fool and an embarrassment to the Australian people, and should resign

It's time for Abbott to get a new job....

This government has actively undermined the public health system by subsidising private insurers (and hence private hospitals) with scandalously large sums from the public purse. Now the hypocrites say they will employ more doctors.....! 11 years too late.

I watched him on Lateline get interviewed wit Julia Gillard last night. He was a babbling wreck, expressing regret but not really "getting" how insulting his behaviour was especially how he cussed at his opponent in the debate after being so late. Julia Gillard was so cool and just laughed at him as he resorted to insulting her throughout the interview. The man is a complete disgrace.

Bring on more debates!
I want to see more of these intelligent and well-composed 21st century ALP candidates eating smirking Libs for breakfast.

It also proves the lack of respect the Government has for the Opposition - basic rudeness. If only his christian values extended to mutual respect and courtesy...
