see i took this at home pregnancy test because i've been feeling funny lately and it came out positive and i was just wondering if its possibly that a pregnancy test come out wrong when they say positive. i only took one test.

CONGRATS!!! Same thing happend to me. I didnt believe it, so I took 5 more!!! I was in shock. If its positive, then your pregnant. The doctors office laughes at me the first time I called. I told them that I think Im pregnant. They asked if I took a test. I said yes, and it was positive, the receptionist laughed and said "Honey, congrates, your pregnant. So yes, CONGRATS again!!!

I know sometimes we'd like to think that they are, or sometimes we want them to be right so bad that we don't want to be let down.
I've had 5 positive home tests in my life. One with my first child, and the last 4 with the child I am carryig now. I didn't believe it so I had to do a few more. The line was very faint and took a while to show so I thought maybe the test was messed up. 21 weeks later I am getting bigger and know that the tests were right. I've never had a false positive or negative. They are usually right.
Go to the doctor to confirm it. I hope this is something that is good news for you. Children are a big responsibility and a lot of work, but they are wonderful.

A positive is usually a positive. There are only a few things that can cause a false positive and they are medications that contain the HCG hormone like certain birth control pills.

Pregnancy tests are usually 99.1% accurate, so it is unlikely it is a false positive, there are more false negatives that positives. You are up the duff Hun, go and see your Doc and get a blood test done.

I got a false negative once but false positives are rare. It's possible but I wouldn't count on it. It's time to call a doctor or go to a health clinic.
