A woman's hymen can be broken from strong physical exercise or using a tampon & some women aren't born with a hymen. However, would need to have intercourse to get pregnant.

Yes, your hymen can only really be broken when you are having sexual intercourse for the first time and for one to become pregnant you need to have sexual intercourse.
