USA disgusts me when money crimes get more time than murderers and sex predators.

Actually this has been true on many occasions. The stories I have linked are of 3 separate situations. 1 is where a man gets 18 years for cold blooded murder. The other is an embezzlement charge where the person faces up to 30 years in prison. And the other is a father who molested his own children and only got 4 months.

Ok now lets look at this for a moment... You steal money, which does screw people over but really does not ruin the rest of their lives and you get a harsh penalty. You molest a child which in turn ruins the rest of the lives and you get a swift kick in the butt then let loose to commit again. Then there is murder where you actually ruin someones very existence and ruin the rest of the lives of the family and you get a few years where once again you will be released to harm again.

It is a sad day when money is more important then lives. You wanted proof, here is your proof. I can go on but that would take up to much time. Do your research and you will find that there is proof out there that what this poster stated was true. It may not be the 100% for every situation, but it does happen. It is not being anti-american it is being a realist.

An embezzler can get more time, if he is convicted of several counts vs. one child molest charge. Embezzler can get up to three years in prison, but a child molester can get up to seven years.
