both teams played well. couple of questionable calls, though, that went against the Lakers.
Kobe did his usual 40+ points thing, and everything else to try to win the game. No matter what team he is on, Kobe gives 100%.
Good to see D-Fish in the Lakers uniform again.

I respect the Rockets. Good team. T Mac is awesome. Adelman could lead this team deep into the playoffs.

Good grief man, Kobe was hacked on the last play by Rafer Alston

no foul?????

man I hate that play Kwame/Luke did that gave up a basket...that ended up being the difference

Kobe was laboring with his sore wrist but he came thru in the clutch with a minute to go and traling by 12, he shut down tmac, he scored 8 and had 2 assists including the game tying one (shot by Fisher but I THOUGHT IT SHOULD'VE BEEN A 31!!!)

OH god so freakin close

im impressed by the lakers

its a good loss..we played with no odom and radmonovic and we hung in there with the team thats one of hte elite teams in the West and picked by BSPN to win the west

im proud of my boyzzzz

GO LAKERS!!!

Kobe needs alittle more help

its not fair he's getting screwed by the management and the refs on the court

Kobe led the team in assists, steals, blocks, REBOUNDS and minutes played....NO HELP AT ALL

Luke was Puke out there tonight....just terrible. Scored for the Rockets, missed that wide open three, and then gave up the three to Battier

GAWWD we could've won the game...so many opportunities

Kobe's wrist was hurting so bad dude was forcing it

how many missed free throws? this game should have been a blowout if not for the 17 or so missed free throws. not too mention the 2 free points from kwame and luke playing pattycake

Lakers organization missed up letting Derick Fisher not starting over gary Payton in 2004 and now look what he dose for the Lakers.

The game was good. A couple of many questionable calls but nothing out of the norm. I did kinda get worried when Kobe hit that three. Once he hit that 3 it was Kobe's 2:00 min revenge.

Way to many mistakes

Wow tho Kobe missed a couple of freethorws. He could of had 50. I've never seen Kobe so off at the line. Did u see that shot (I think in the 3rd Q) that flicked of Walton's hand and into the Rockets goal. Crazy.

All-in-All it was a good game I hope the rest of the season is this close.

Overall i was impressed with how the Lakers came out in the 1st quarter- it was the only quarter they really played like a team.

i wish Phil would have played Crittenton a little bit. All the haters are coming out and talking their "ish" about Kobe but the truth is no one else on the floor could score for them. There was no post presence so every feed in the post was just a feed waiting to come out for a jumper with the shot-clock running down - this is where you really miss Lamar as a second scorer.

It was a good comeback effort. And i think if Kobe's wrist wasn't bothering him he definetly doesn't miss that many free-throws. The rest of the team was horrendous too- they really need to make their throws (it's like Basketball 101) And to think that crazy basket where Luke and Kwame coudln't handle the ball- could have been the difference in the game.

D. Fish was very clutch.

i think the Lakers need to give Crittenton some time on the floor- the kid can score- and there are times when they Lakers go through scoring droughts that they need a couple of baskets from someone non-Kobe to open things up for Kobe.

It doesn't get any easier with Phoenix and Utah in the next two.

Go Lakers!

Looked like a game for the Rockets froom last year. Offense moved the ball better, especially at the spurt where they tied the Lakers at 27 in the first half and most of the third quarter. Otherwise, poor movement of the ball and another fourth quarter bomb. I'm a hardcore Rocket fan but they need to play better than that to get a solid seed, the Lakers just aren't that good and they played down to their level.

It is good to see Fisher back. During the Lakers runs he was the heart and soul of the team. Not the most talented but definitely plays with the most passion.

There were a few qustionable calls but the refs are rather human. Personally, I'd rather see them make less calls and let the players determine the outcome of the game.

Lakers all the way.... they say Kobe makes the entire team.... that's not correct, but he does give his 100% and he plays well...... I like the lakers over Rockets anyday!!

My favorite team of course is the Dallas Mavericks!

Soon to Be Champions!! I speak that they will win the Championship 2008!!!

Well fantasy basketball commisioners won't be happy with Kobe's performance. He took way to many field goal attempts, had 4 fouls, and way to many turnovers. What people don't understand is that 44 points may look good on paper, but it's how you get the 44 points.

I LOVE my Rockets.....just wish they would get their heads out of space. They have such a chance this year!
I'm a loyal fan, all my life thus far and even when I lived in Chicago too.
