Yes, I'm very interested to see what defenders of checks and balances and limited executive power the Republicans become once the Democrats have reoccupied the White House.

First, I hope Hillary will not be elected president, for several reasons. Most of them are how I think she would try to run the country.

There has always been a little bit of a conflict between the executive and legislative branches, and that's probably good. Too much cooperation between them would probably lead to tyranny.

I am concerned, however, that much of the current conflict between the two branches of government is the result of petty bickering and very shameful behavior on the part of legislative Democrats.

To his credit, President Bush has tried to promote harmony and peace between the parties, but the Democrats have had none of it, and the Republicans failed to lead when they held the house.

I believe if the Constitution is upheld that the country will survive the increasing power of the executive branch even if Hillary Clinton is elected.

What the country needs now--I think--is a truly viable third party. The Libertarians aren't it. Neither is the Green Party. Possibly a split from the Democratic Party or a makeover of the Republican Party will solve the problem, but I don't think either party in its present state will serve the country as well as they would like to serve themselves.

This is not the first "unitary executive" as a matter of fact the Wilson oval office was probally run by Mrs. Wilson and not the bigotted idealist the people elected. The Van Burens and the Adam's worked together. Somehow the idea of a man and woman facing the world together is thrown out when the White House is the place the are looking out of. The President bears a heavy burden. It is difficult to see why the person who knows them best is unable to help them.

I think Hillary is actually about to have more problems than she can deal with. It may even mean jail time for her. Her campaign finance troubles have been all over the news for months, and she has been sliding out of trouble just like ole slick willy did. However go to Youtube and watch the Hillary uncensored video. Trouble is brewing for her!!! Here I will include the url. there are multiple parts. Just look at them all.

Republicans think this is o.k. for them but not Democrats. Expect a flip flop from the Republicans that would earn them a gold medal from the diving competition at the Olympics.
