so i'm a high school senior...and i'm planning to become a pharmacist..but first i want to attend a calstate..here's my question....when can i transfer to a pharmacy school?...so if i go to a calstate ( a four year school)...can i transfer to a pharmacy school after i do all my prerequisite courses necessary? For example...if i complete all my prerequisite courses in 2 years...can i transfer after that?...but the question i have..is that wouldn't that mean that i wouldn't complete the total four years necessary for a calstate to receive a bachelors?..

so...i'm kinda confused...would i be able to transfer and would pharmacy schools even accept me if i do only 2 out of 4 years of calstate or do i have to do the complete 4 years?

Every pharmacy school will have their own prerequisite courses that must be completed before admission. Most often they can be completed within 2 years. Contact the school of pharmacy that you are interested in, and as them which courses you should be taking.

You can do the pre-reqs at any accredited university. However, you are in California, and to be competitive, you'll need a bachelors.
