does anyone know if we might have an earthquake at 3 a.m. in san jose again?
(pacific time)

my friends said so, but i'm not quite sure.

There is no way to predict earthquakes. You may have aftershocks they happen at anytime after an earthquake. It could happen at 4 am or not at all. I would not worry too much. The worst has more than likely past.

they are predicting that we will not, since the after shocks are 1.0 or less they are worried about the hayward fault they are worried that this earthquake added stress to the hayward fault and we might see another 1989 earthquake soon...I hope not = (

head over to http://earthquakes.usgs.gov/eqcenter/dyfi.php and fill out the "did you feel it?" report, it's really helpful for scientists to map out what people felt and where they were feeling it. its also knid of cool to see the distribution!
