Probably. But keep this in mind, the profoundest/simplest thoughts are also the one's that are easiest to forget. So there you go, you always having profound thoughts but you're always losing them to.

Yes, especially when they come from children! Children can get you to think about the most thought provoking things? They have a way of taking life and getting it down to it's most elemental parts.
