I only want answers from people that are using or have used the Depo Shot. Because I want someones real experience from using it and not a link to some website telling me about it.. I've already done a lot of research on it..
So ladies -- Have you gained weight on it? What are the some side effects you experienced? Woud you say you made a good decision when you chose to get on the Depo?

I was on it for four years and I would NEVER EVER recommend it to anyone. I'm appalled and saddened that it is still being administered to women.
MANY women suffer very serious health risks and negative side affects from this shot.

Read the reviews here and google "depo provera lawsuit" and read up!
I gained weight (and it wasn't "appetite increase" like some say), was very very moody, had a loss of libido, occasionally spotted. It was horrible.
I'm now on Kariva (pill) which I started right after my last shot that I never got was due. I got my periods back in three months thankfully.
I only hope I can conceive. I've heard horror stories about women having a lot of difficulty after depo (they did finally concieve but it took a long time).
