ive got a lot of legos (thousands) from diff sets. i have about 3 options; i can take all of the pieces and put them into temporary containers, i can organize them and put them in to containers, or i can make the original models (to do something with the pieces) and use the extra space to clean the house. my roomate and i are moving out in late nov, early dec, so i dont have that much time left. im partly tempted just to chunk it all into some container to get it out of the way and worry about organizing later, however it would give me something to do to sort it now, or build models, either way getting the pieces out of the way. for storage ideas i was thinking a combination of toolboxes and ziplock bags.

if you have time to sort before storing - I would. but I would wait to build until after the move. Legos in storage containers are easier to move than models and less likely to break.

Build the models. It's gonna make look better when your roomate comes in. it'll make better use of your legos. what're you gonna do once you store your legos? it makes your room look cooler too.
