Khol's is the worst place to work in. They make their money by taking advantage of their employees. They give them long horrible hours. They make them work their butts off and have the nerve to pay so much less than other reputable dept. stores. For example, they push you and pressure you AND expect you to open a couple of credit applaications a day but would you imagine they pay a mere 50 cents for each one. And to top it all off, if you don't open a certain amout of credits a year, you don't get the whopping quater of a dollar yearly raise. Lol.
This is how Kohl's could afford to sell brand names for $4 & $5.

I am so sorry that you are treated that way.

I love shopping at Kohl's for the sale prices and the only part that I hate is the constant do you have a Kohl's account, no thank you, you would save money, no thank you, you could pay it off right away and still save money, no thank you.

All of that aggravation and you only make 50 cents? I am really sorry.

I am truly sorry for the way you are treated. Maybe you should take your experience and try an expensive store at the mall. My sister managed a Cache and they make good money and the hours were flexible.

Good luck!

I'd recommend getting a highly paid job.

Try to find the best careers in forbes or something and pick something. Get a degree and then make lots of money and take it easy. Sounds hard but it aint.

Remember this:
You will always make an amount proportional to the difficulty they have replacing you. So always try to get jobs that are difficult to replace.

BTW I shop at Kohls and I'm amazed at the super low prices! gosh I bought some reasonable Polo shirts for $12! Keep up the good work!

I worked there. Friday was my last day. I was told I was being let go because I was late 6 days durring my probhational period but I realy I was only late for 5. I went home extreamly sick one day and I found out later if you ask to go home they mark it as being late for the day. But I like how they never gave me a warning and told me I was out of free days like they did some of the girls that work there. Coincidentally I over heard the managers talking about how the payroll is low and they technicaly can't afford to have so many employees. I was also expected to sell 1 credit app for every 2 hours I worked and would get harrased about not meeting my quota almost every day. Also I and several other new employees were begged by the supervisor to fill out a credit app for her so they could meet that days qouta. Its a **** place to work and honestly McDonald's is a better place to work.
