In every way available to them, ie in the ways they can afford.
MP3 players, Disc men, radio etc
Ways that are comfortable, easy to carry, and reproduce good sound.

You could specify what defines a Generation Y in the first place, the music that was predominant in their era. Generation Y refers to today's teenagers basically. So you could find scientific journal articles about Teenagers and today's music
