Hello all, my girlfriend has arched feet and doesn't dig flat-ish sneakers. Any recommendations?

I haven't really gotten a chance to look around with her. I, myself, wear Adidas racing sneakers *Goodyears and Porsche-Racings'...since I used to race on occasion and drive a lot* and Nike SB Tre's *ex-skateboarder..on hiatus*, but all the sneakers she have she doesn't really like to wear...she wears boots and shoes with small heels a lot.

Though all of the women in my family have high arches, all feet are not created equal. my mom swears by new blance shoes. My sister in law and I prefer brooks shoes. my best advise for tennis shoes, is to go to a store that specializes in running shoes. they will be best in helping your GF find the right shoe for her. case in point, new balance shoes are too straight for my kidney bean shaped feet, Brooks on the other hand are perfect. A running store sales person should be able to watch your GF walk up and down in any given shoe and tell if she pronates, etc. and find the right shoe.

Asics 2120, 2110 or 1120. Damn near anything by Asics is a great arch support shoe. I work at an athletic store for kids and some women prefer kids running shoes better because the arch support is more pronounced in alot of the brands. Kids sizes are the same as men sizes so there's a size and a half difference between a womens shoe and a kids shoe. For instance, if she's a women's 8.5, she'll be a kids 7. Tell her to try kids athletic shoe store. Find a small specialty store. They don't give a damn at Foot Locker.
