I believe that Sen. Clinton is on the Senate Armed Services Comm.....certainly she's had contact with any number of military types during her career and she's lived through several wars and actions while either in public service or as Bill Clinton's wife. I suspect she knows a lot about the nuts and bolts of how a military service operates if not about tactics. But more important the need for a strategic sense of what a modern military should do and not do is what we're talking about. FDR certainly never served, nor did President Wilson...even Lincoln served only briefly in the Blackhawk War but never saw any action. Still, they had a good grip on what needed to be done and found the right people to do it. Right now we need a president that has the US future in mind in some practical way that does away with all the speeches and flag waving and gets down to the practical matters of keeping air moving in the lungs of rapidly faltering first world country. I'm certain she's learned from her mistakes....if the right wing swift-boat fleet will put the country at least on par with their 'needs' and lend a hand we'd all be better off. Personally I'm voting for Obama, but should Clinton be the Dem. nominee I'll vote for her. Despite all the BS from the right wing talk show nitwits Clinton is about as centerist as it gets. The Bush Junta had it's chance and because of their Ex-Lax touch this country is in real danger....Clinton will bring us closer to the center, and that will be a good thing.

contained in the protection force you would possibly want to be able to stay with orders as well as being a pacesetter. you do not evaluate the sex of the Commanding Officier, you merely do as you're instructed. it is area of being a good Soldier...... I served contained in the protection force, loved it, and that i for one do not imagine Hillary Clinton will be our next " Commander in chief" yet when this may ensue a good soldier will placed personal topics aside and stick with orders.... You Lead by technique of party

She won't be any worst than what we have had in the past... Look at Rumsfield, a former Marine, who was a poor manager as the Secretary of Defense... look at George W Bush, he allowed Rumsfield run the Pentagon long past he made him resign... Look at Iraq, the chaos that these war chiefs have left in their incompetence.
I don't like Hillary but she sure as hell can't make it worse.
People act like ONE person will lead the military. She will have help by a Secretary of Defense and a Secretary of Navy. She will have the NSC... it will be run by a committee. Its so unlikely that the next president (Republican or Democrat) will be as weak in character as George W Bush. He relied too much on 2 people, Cheney and Rumsfield and he discounted the CIA and the NSC.

Not no but hell no. She is a criminal and a socialistic feminazi. If it looks like a snake, slithers like a snake, then by golly it's a snake.
Some people seem to completely ignore her past and will vote for her for the most stupid reasons.
Talk about our Country going downhill with her as commander in chief. Heaven forbid!!

Based on what I saw from Hillary tonight, I don't think Hillary could run water in a sink much less run the US military.

I don't think Billary should be in charge of anything. She's a power-hungry sleaze-bag, just like her husband. Times TEN!!
