Put aloe vera on it. Keep it cool. Don't break the blister. Don't put any creams or lotions on it. They act like oil on a frying pan. Run it under water. If its hurting him then sit with an ice cube wrapped in a washcloth on it.

Run it under cold water for a long time. Do not apply ice to the burn. If you have some burn cream such as silvadean, apply that. No ointments or dressings. Now, why was your baby so close to a burning candle? From now on, keep all lit materials away from your baby.

The baby's caretakers should put away the candles until the child is much older. They are very lucky a blister is the worst that happened.

If it is not charred but blistered only I would only put ice or cool running water on it. It should be fine as long as it doesnt get infected.
Do not put an oointment or butter on it.

You could also put some burn gel on it.

First of all, why would someone have a candle where an infant could get at it? That is just totally irresponsible. If this is something that really happened call their doctor. If you put burn cream in the blister they might get it in their mouth.

oh my goodness...I am not even gonna ask why a baby was near a candle..or why you even have candles in the house with a baby in it...

But anyways...they make a burn gel to put on burns you can do that and then wrap a band aid around it ...but 7 months old it will be hard to keep the band aid on.

so..someone figured it was a grand idea to have a lighted candle within reach of a baby...boggles the mind that one..i certainly hopes the person is pretty ashamed over her/his actions...and has learnt now to keep all dangerous...fragile..hazordeous items packed away for a few years...the baby deserves protection from those things..and will not understand.."no"..she can not touch it...

any ways..a cool cloth on it..never burst it...never but any oil butter etc on it..
