I have known people to remarry their ex. Sometime letting go brings about a new perspective, clarity, and understanding. If the love was real, often it is not, two people will find their way back to each other.

My grandparents divorced and remarried. They were married about 7 years the first time and about 45 the second time. They said they didn't like to talk about the divorce, that it should have never happened.

Yeap. My mom remarried my dad TWICE!! This means they got divorced THREE times. They were crazy. But now that they're no longer together, they've actually become better people. My sisters and I like them a lot more now. I might be wrong, but each person's opinion is mostly based on individual experience, so I say: NOT a good idea.

My grandparents divorced at age 30 and got remarried at age 70 and lived until age 87/89. You have to decide if you want to be with the guy the rest of your life? (Hey - does your family have to buy you all new presents if you marry the same guy again?)

Yep, divorced, lived two years single, remarried same person.

Divorced again four years later.

Remarrying isn't a good idea unless you both get therapy for whatever was wrong the first time.

we never divorced but we renewed our vows in the church 5 times, we find it very helpful and invigorating, kinda spices up the love life, and reasures you that after all the petty arguments, stress of life in general, children issues, ect. ect. that we know in our hearts dispite all we are still very much in love and it dont get better than that.
