if energy cannot be destroyed, why do organisms have to continually harness energy?

Even if energy cannot be destroyed, there is a constant conversion of the type of energy. For example, in the creation of ATP, energy is stored within the bonds between the 2nd and 3rd phosphates. now, when this bond is broken, energy is released in a multitude of forms. Now, we can convert this energy from its specific from into another form of usable energy.

In short, even though energy cannot be destroyed, our bodies covert it from usable sources into unusable sources every single second we are alive, thus we must continually harness more and more energy in USABLE forms in order to survive.

Energy cannot be destroyed, but it is converted from one form to another. Plants harvest light energy from the sun and convert it to a chemical energy. Animals take the chemical energy and convert it to mechanical energy (muscle contraction) and heat. The energy flow is one way.

energy is not destroyed infact it is transferrede from 1 body 2 another as living things utilize their energy in different works as when we push a thing v aplly energy which converts the potential into kinetic energy so energy is not wasted it is transferred and as it is goe from our body so v have to get some more

energy cannot be destroyed, but it can be used up. for example...I ate an apple, it gave me energy, I used that energy to clean my room, the energy was used to move objects around to their proper places. So as you see...I got the energy and used it up to do dialy tasks.
