Canadian bacon prices -- and smuggling-- would skyrocket.
After two decades of this, a much scrawnier generation of Americans would then get mercilessly devoured by feral hordes of pigs, cows, lambs, and chickens.
Payback's a beyoottch!

I would have to move! I was born on a cattle ranch. I believe that God/the universe put animals here for us to eat. I'm am very grateful to the animals/universe. I love pepperoni pizza, fillet minion, beef brisket, whoppers etc... Too much! Also, I'm allergic to many fruits, vegetables and especially seafood. What's left? No rabbit diet for me! No offense to my veggie friends...

There would sure be a lot more cattle in the pastures.
You get good protein from lots of places--- not just beef!
Soy beans
dried legumes
tofu
nuts
eggs
Sounds to me like you are about to go vegan?

We'd get bootleg meat from Canada just like we got bootleg booze from Canada during Prohibition.

I need meat. I'd hunt with a bow and arrow at night.
Haha to the first one, wondering how humans would taste. Soylent Green.
