I don't know if your misunderstanding this or not, but best answer has nothing to do with weather or not you know the person. In fact this whole ask and answer site is set up to keep identities discreet. The reason one should receive best answer is because they gave you the answer that you found most use-full or complete.

I'm trying to never get the best answer so really I don't want it. Kind of a silly question don't you think? The only people that really know you can probably talk to you directly and don't have to bother with all this.

You would choose me for the best answer even though you don't know me, because I would give a thoughroly thought out, complete answer to your needs. It doesn't matter if you know the person as long as they are kind and give you a good reason and explanation for their answer.

because when i answer a question it's for the benefit of the individual asking the question or sometimes to let my opinion resound through the numerous comments of many that are hoping to be "the best".

mmmmmmmm cause if you have something u are unsur about and ur really nervous or upset about it sometimes it is good to ask other people what they think because when your right in the middle of a crisis sometimes it is hard to think clearly or logically
