you went to see one of your favorite singers and he-she sang only ONE of his-her SONGS through out the ENTIRE show?
I'm serious, i went to see ####### last month and dang it, HE SANG ONLY ONE OF HIS SONGS..HE TALKED FOR A 1/2 HOUR AND TOLD JOKES AND THEN because he was here in the MOTOR CITY/MOTOWN, he broke out in a couple of TEMPTATIONS HITS! WHAT THE???? He didn't explain or nothing..ONLY ONE OF HIS SONGS???
don't want to show his name cause i like him a lot and don't want to ruin his ticket sales

I would be absolutely bummed out and disappointed. The only saving grace would be if the stories were really great but I would still be bummed. I would think if they were ill or having a throat or voice problem the least they would do is give an explanation.
The last Willie concert I went to he mentioned he had a sore throat and apologized but he just kept right on singing tune after tune after tune.
Funny you should mention the Temptations, I watched the movie last night. Such a sad story with such great great music.

I had the same thing happen to me when I went to see D** ******as he was so drunk he didn't know where is was or even where he had been. Really a bummer because I always respected him. I did get the chance a few years after that to tell him how disappointed I was so he took out his guitar and sang about 8 of his songs for me. I forgave him for the earlier incident. RIP my friend

The only explanation I can conjure up, is that he/she might have been experiencing some vocal cord problems! Was he/she hoarse? Of course, that only explains the conversation in lieu of singing. Now, I love the Temptations, but I can't fathom a good reason to sing more than one of their hits. Obviously, they are avid fans. Brad Paisley likes to do songs by Dire Strait at his concerts, but he usually only preforms one. I'd be confused, too! Naturally, I'm dying to find out who you're talking about.

that sucks....and you are definitely taking the higher ground by NOT telling us his name...only problem is lots more people are going to be disappointed.
