They told me my baby is a girl and I'm still in total disbelief cause I figured I would only have boys. I'm sooo happy but I can't make myself believe it cause it seems too good to be true. Tell me if you agree that you see girl parts in the sono (I don't ever seen anything recognizable in ultrasound, I just take their word for it).

I'm 18 weeks 2 days and that is a picture looking up inbetween the legs, no head involved but I see it now that you mention it.

How far along are you in the photo ??
Maybe I'm just not seeing what you are. If I am correct in my findings, I see a head and arms but that's it.
I'm sorry for that, I've had 3 kids and I know what sonograms look like and I just can't see anything more.
Beside that point tho, I know that whichever sex it is that you will be a loving and caring mother and will bring this child up with respect, morals and values that he/she will need to develop into a healthy young person.

I think the way they actually determine the 'bits' is by the pelvic bones first as they are different in girls and boys. Then they look for labia vs testes.
To me it all looks like gooble-de-gouk but hey if they said 'girl' then congrats! I'm very happy for you! I was shocked when I had a boy the second time as I was sure it would be another girl!!

It looks like a girl to me! If you look close, there's this part that looks like 3 lines next to each other, and that's what they look for to determine it's a girl. And besides that, it doesn't look ANYTHING like the boy-parts did on my son's ultrasound! Congratulations!

well i cant promise you anything but i am having a boy and ive seen his boy part probably 10 times...and thats not what his boy parts look like so i would say a girl is what it is and they are right. so congrats. if i ever get pregnant again i want a girl!

have you tried to ask the doctor to explain and just because you have only had boys in the past does not mean you cant have a girl it solely depends on the guy his genes are dominant but i say believe it be thankful that you now will have a little you, how cute.

Yep that's a girl. I asked the doctor who did my ultrasound how they are able to tell. She said that a girls privates will show up as 3 lines (labia and clitoris) and a boy only has one. If you look real hard you will be able to see 3 lines. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR TINY PRINCESS!!!

The baby is definately a little girl!!!! She has a labia and boys cannot have those- there are no little boy parts anywhere. Congratulations!!!
