I'm 16, and currently working at a smoothie place that only pays 6.75 and hour, I maybe get 5 dollars in tips for a full day.This just isn't cutting it, especially since they don't give me enough hours. I get around 20 hours for two weeks.
Anyway, do you know of any places in the Scottsdale area, or any chains that pay more? I mean 8.50 would be amazing.

You can check with places like Target, Dilliards, Kohls, or Best Buy. Alot of places are now hiring for the holiday season so you should be able to get a higher paying job.

Arizonza is a rite to work state!! The law says" if you don't like quit"! They keep their wages low, to keep the snow birds coming in!! It sure sucks. I was lucky and worked skilled trade, BIG$$$, and managed well, but got transferred back east for twice the $$.. good luck,, get your education, 1 class at a time!!
