Runescape level 3 clue scrolls and rare items?

Question

Are there any monsters that drop level 3 clue scrolls that can
't hurt me? LIke the lesser demon in the Wizards Tower, but it doesn't drop clue scrolls. And if not, are there any that have a high rare item drop rate?

in the stronghold of security, when you go down to the last floor there are ankous.

theres a few different areas where the ankous are. theres a little room, which ALWAYS has people fighting in. then theres this one room thats a lot bigger and it also has skeletons in it.

in the southwest of that room i believe, theres an area where you can range/use a hally to kill them. the place is right by a gate. not only do anklous drop level 3 scrolls, but they have a high drop rate of death runes (10 runes per drop) and blood runes (eithe 5, or 11 runes per drop). they drop other good stuff too. hope this helps ;)

Clue scrolls are completely random I got a lv 3 from a jellie, and i had to do 2 wildy clues, and a sliding puzzle, and a digging one, and i got a 3rd age mage top. The level of the monster you kill for the clue scroll does not matter. Also, if the clue you are doing is really easy, it is still worth doing, because the cost of the prize has nothing to do with what the rewards are. So the answer is yes. Hope i Did GOOD!

I happen to like the blue dragons under the feldip hills. They're easily ranged & have decent drops besides the blue hides, dragon bones & level 3 clues.

There are hell hounds you can range in members dungeion below taverly

or you can range blue dragons there on in heroes guild

As for high drop rate, fire giants are good to range and you get decent drops.
