Around 8:10pm. It wasn't big, but it's the largest one I've felt since I was a little kid. Things were actually rattling. It was kinda fun!

I'm in San Francisco... Lower Haight.

And to those of you who live far away from San Francisco but still felt it... wow. Is that why you were browsing the "San Francisco" category. :-p

But yeah... fun!

Oh, as for how it felt here... at first I thought a really big truck was just passing by or something, then it lasted a bit long and the cup on my table started slowly moving as it shook. It wasn't nearly big enough to cause worry, but definitely big enough to be a little shocked.

I felt it, and didn't know what it was at first then stuff started dropping off shelves and i threw my homework into the air and crawled under my desk. Now I lost my pencil.

My friend:
"I was playing on my computer when I noticed that it was rumbling. I then looked at the rest of the room, and I saw that the plants hanging from the ceiling and the floor standing lamps were all shaking like mad. My parents and my brothers started yelling "Earthquake", and we ran to the family room to get under the pool table. However, the earthquake had just stopped. It had lasted for about 7-10 seconds. I then went to inspect the house and found that a picture and some jars were displaced, and that some minor cracks in the wall grew larger.
Walking back to my computer, I checked an IM from a friend (thank yahoo IM and friend), and he said that he just experienced an earthquake at his house. He had sent me a link to the USGS site where the earthquake information was."

At first I thought it was the wine! But no....it's an earthquake. That one went on for a long time! My chandelier was swinging for about 5 minutes after. I almost jumped under the table (I'm a native and have been through all the big ones and a bit of a chicken). "Kinda fun!" You're crazy!....Okay...it was kinda fun.

lol. I was so shocked...esp. since it's the day before Halloween.

I live in Fremont, so most definitely I felt it.
I thought the washing machine or something broke. I didn't know it was an earthquake after it happened. My cousin's dog was barking like crazy...ahah. Quite a shock eh? O_O
I'm kinda glad it happened, it made me realize that anything can happen at anytime.

lol. & HELL YEH. IT was fun. :D
