What in the hell are some of you smoking? Overrated? All Romo has done is provide stability to a position that hasn't sniffed it since Troy Aikman. He has a comparable record to one Tom Brady, and better numbers than the future Hall of Famer Aikman in his first two seasons. This guy has produced where others before him (Wright, George, Bledsoe, and others) have failed. Now with a reliable quarterback locked up for the next six years they can concentrate on improving other areas like wide receivers where Glenn is not getting any younger, and neither is Owens.
Patriots overrated? Is that why the only time that the Colts won the Super Bowl recently is when they faced a Patriots with a good portion of their defense injured, and their wide receiving core subpar? We've all seen numerous times what happens when the Colts play a healthy Patriots, they lose. Now with Seymour back on defense, and Moss having a record year the Patriots will return to their dominance over the Colts. Look for the Patriots unbeaten record to continue after this weekend.

Colts have owned the pats 3 out of 6 times, i call that 50%.
But for Tony Romo, i herd hes the highest NFC QB now, WOW, hes got a lot of potential, but i think its a little to early to be paying him that much. Then again the Raiders payed jamarcus russell some rediculous amount close to Romo as well.

You only have to look at the current player marker to see that while expensive it is the going rate. Jerry Jones is a very screwed business man. He is able to absorb quite significant amounts of the contract in a year when the new television rights were signed and the salary cap blew out. If you look at the other recent contracts of recent quarterback contracts who will you prefer.
Tony Romo 6 years $67 million (guarantee $30 million)
Marc Bulger 6 years $65 million (guarantee $27 million)
Matt Schaub 6 years $48 million (guarantee $7 million)
Romo is the highest rated quarterback in the NFC and only one anywhere near a top 5 pick.

romo is so overrated, he has yet to prove that he can lead his team in the playoffs, he is not a proven winner, and i honestly believe he has everybody who loves him fooled cuz hes just gonna let you down, and i cant wait to see that happen! also the pats are a very good team which i hate to admit but i think indy is gonna pull off the win, its at home, both are undefeated and the colts have had a much more difficult schedule to this point, and as long as i dont see belichick with the lombardi trophy at the end of the season im happy!

You guys are f*ckin retards.
Romo did lead the Cowboys to the playoffs. Sure, he screwed up the FG attempt, but if Gramatica could have thrown himself in front of ONE player, Romo would have picked up the first down. Hell, he might have gotten out of bounds or something. All I'm saying is that Romo gave them the chance. He's sure as hell better than most of the QB's out there. I'm glad Dallas has him, I wouldn't trade him for anybody else, including Tom Brady. So go ahead and luagh for now. But the Cowboys aren't going away.

I'm confused by last couple years? Last year is only 1 year, not a couple. It's funny how Colts fans turn 1 year into domination. Last I checked, Pats still have more wins over the Colts this decade. Enjoy last year, it won't happen again.

Maybe a little much but he's young and learning and hopefully can only get better. If he does get better maybe he won't be a chump and leave dallas for money because jones signed him early . Bulger got just as much and the rams can't give tickets away it's all about money jones ain't sweatin' because at worst dallas will stay above .500 the next 6 years. To finish i would like to see brady's head fall off this weekend and then laser rocket arm throw a touchdown with it!!!!!

The Cowboys and Rangers have and will always over pay some people.
The problem with the Cowboys is the egomania cal owner/coach/general manager.
You know the one that stands on the field so he can tell the coaches what to do.

Next year all the Cowboys fans will be calling for Romo's head and whining because that egotistical prick Jerry Jones paid too much for him. Mark my words, it will happen.
