anything loaded with cheeses, bacon and fried chicken is bad health wise. Some of the mcdonalds salads are worse than the cheese burgers in fat, calories and sodium. then you add the dressings and the lettuce just seems worthless. Look for a fast food salad that uses a light vinagrette dressing and doesn't have a bunch of salty toppings(or pick them off). The more vegetables it offers the better.

Coming home from Florida, we stopped rather late. The only close food place was McDonalds. We ordered a couple of salads which were absolutely delicious and FRESH. Could be a mistake!! Not so. A few days after arriving home I visited the local McD's, ordered a salad for lunch which was of the same quality and freshness as the one in South Carolina. Question ? How does questioner measure health wise? Aren't salads just salads?

yep...I always get mcdonalds asian chicken salad with grilled chicken and a diet coke. Actually that is the only thing I eat at mcdonalds.

and you can always go to subway and then pick exactly what you want on your salad.

I work at Mc Donald's and the Asian salad is one of the healthiest, IF you get the grilled chicken. The dressing is low fat. YUM. I'm having one when I take my dinner break tonight...I work graveyard shift.
