A thong and a g-string are the same except that a thong has a triangle thing in the very back that tapers down as it hits your crack and a g-string does not have the triangle, just a string in the back

A g-string is litterally a string that comes up into a triangular piece of cloth to cover your crotch. A thong has more substance to the back but still doesn't give coverage. The thong also has a thicker waist, whereas the g-string is still... a string.

thongs have fabric all the way around them, and g-strings are fabric in the front, and then just a string around the sides and in the back.
