These are the names I plan to name my children in the future.
I would just like your comment on the name, not the spelling, because if these are the names I end up using I like the spelling as it is.
Boys-
Jesse Carter (JC)
Anthony Kyle
Maxwell Leo (Max) (Lee is a family name, but do you think it is okay if I changed it to Leo?)
Girls-
Holly Marie
Madelynn Cali (Maddy)

I like Jesse, but Carter only works with it if your last name is either one syllable or three syllables.
Anthony Kyle works well together. People will call him Tony, wether you like it or not.
Maxwell Leo.... it is not my kind of name, but remember, it really is up to you.
I like Holly, but Marie is way overused. Like Ann, Lynn, and Sue (my own middle name... grrrr.)
To tell you the absolute truth, I like Maddy, but dislike Madelynn. Lynn is overused, and I have seen the name Madelynn everywhere. Why not just use Maddy? Cali is also a very very popular name... so if you want unique, find something different.
Now, don't think I am bashing your choices! I took nine full months to figure out my kids names, and I did this same analysis to my own lists as well! You don't have to take my advice anyway. What you like is what is important. :)

Jesse Carter- It's okay, just not the best in my opinion. It reminds me of a teen in a boy band. It's cute, but I don't know if it would suit an older man when he is grown.
Anthony Kyle- love it=) It's cute but strong=]
Maxwell Leo- I like it, and think Max is a cute name for a boy. I think it's fine that you change the name to Leo=] It still has its significance.
You could always keep "Lee" and use it with another name, like Carter.
Carter Lee=) or even use it with a girl name; Leigh or Lee as a middle!
Holly Marie- very pretty=)
Madelynn Cali- Cute
Other cute girl names you could use along with the "Lee" would be:
Emma Leigh
Brenna Lee
Karissa Lee
etc=]
Of course, once you become pregnant in the future, your mind will change numerous times as to what names you like=)

Jesse Carter (JC)-This is my favorite from your boy's list. Plus, JC is an adorable nickname!
Anthony Kyle- Doesn't flow very well.
Maxwell Leo (Max) (Lee is a family name, but do you think it is okay if I changed it to Leo?)- This gets second place on my list. I'm sure Leo would be fine. Maxwell Lee suonds good too though.
Girls-
Holly Marie- I'm nto a huge fan. The name is alright though.
Madelynn Cali (Maddy)- Love this! It's very cute, classy, and girly!

I woulnd't use Madelynn Cali (Maddy), way to common. Maddy and Madison are very common now days.. I love the idea of Maxwell Leo, changing the family name Lee to Leo, is a great idea, Jesse Carter is pretty cool too. And I love Holly Marie! If I have another daughter I would like to use Marie in her name. And Holly sounds beautiful!

I like Anthony Kyle and Maxwell Leo. They're nice names - solid, classic. And while your family might not see Leo as close enough to Lee to honor your history, you'll know that's why you chose the name.
Holly is okay. Madelynn is horrid. I think you probably need to go back to the beginning with girls' names.
Incidentally, I don't get it when askers say things like "don't comment on the spelling." The spelling makes a *huge* difference. If you really don't care what others think, why even ask?

Jesse Carter & Holly Marie are my picks.
Although the others are all good. I do like Max better than Maxwell. Max Patrick Leo would be my suggestion.

Madelynn Cali (is that kay-lee or kal-lee?) personally I don't care for at all.
Maxwell Leo actually sounds better as Maxwell Lee, jmo.
Just a suggestion - be sure your spouse agrees with your names, and be ready and willing to compromise.
I had chosen a few names for my kids that my hubby did not like at all, and there simply was no compromise so we went with entirely different names.

I like jesse, but what's the Carter for? Leo is a good name too. I really like maddy, not so much holly...name your baby after you look at him or her too - to see if the name matches his or her apperance as well as their personalities...you will know what to name them at the first sight!

I think if you're going to go with Maxwell, I would use Lee instead of Leo...it just goes better. I love the name Madelynn Cali! It's beautiful
